RAPV Reports 2016 Strong Year for Sale


The REALTOR® Association of Pioneer Valley reported that single family sales were up 13.1 percent in 2016 when compared to 2015 and median price was up 0.8 percent. A report by County appears below.


Pioneer Valley
Sales up 13.1 percent
Median price up 0.8 percent to $199,000

Franklin County
Sales up 13.2 percent
Median price up 7.8 percent to $199,500

Hampden County
Sales up 16.2 percent
Median price remains the same at $180,000

Hampshire County
Sales up 5.3 percent
Median price up 1 percent to $260,550

December sales were up 16.3 percent compared to the same time last year and the median price was up 5.1 percent to $199,700; though County Reports vary.
