RAPV Finds Single Family Homes and Number of Listings Down, but Median Price Increases in October

On November 21, the REALTOR® Association of Pioneer Valley reported single-family home sales in October were down 13.7 percent compared to the same time last year, but median price rose 0.8 percent to $193,500. Information by county appears below.

Franklin County

  • Sales up 15.4 percent
  • Median price up 16.3 percent to $201,250

Hampden County

  • Sales down 11.5 percent
  • Median price down 1.1 percent to $178,000

Hampshire County

  • Sales down 26.3 percent
  • Median price up 6.8 percent to $265,000
